The département of Gironde forms part of the Aquitaine region in south west France and is famous worldwide for its wine and for its beautiful Atlantic coastline.
Our weather
The weather is fantastic and the region enjoys almost as much sunshine as the Côte d'Azur. The summers are long and hot and the winters are mild. You can usually still have lunch outside in early November and be back at your garden table in February, when there are often some lovely warm days!
Cazeau
Cazeau has 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 5 people
Gite d'Ile Cazeau has 2 huge bedrooms, the smaller being 20 sq.m. Sympathetically converted from an abandoned barn, we chose to leave the full sweep of the roof visible by creating a mezzanine bedroom upstairs, and leaving the main living accommodation open plan. Your rooms in Gite d'Ile Cazeau are enormous, with over 120 sq.m. of space, all newly renovated and refurbished. With cool tiled and wooden floors, traditional rustic thick stone walls and exposed beams, most of which were recycled from the original building, you will find this the ideal place to relax and enjoy a siesta out of the midday sun. Bed linen, and towels are all provided so they needn't take up valuable space in your luggage! The living room has a TV, stereo, DVDs, books and games, a sofa bed and enough comfortable chairs for everyone to relax. The kitchen is equipped with everything we could imagine you would need.
Facilities in the Cottage
Dishwasher, washing machine, TV, DVD player, fridge, freezer, microwave, plenty of cutlery and crockery, outdoor chairs, tables and sun loungers, barbecue, shared pool, play area, sandpit, petting farm. Towels and bed linen are provided.

- Please contact us for prices outside these dates. Marathon du Medoc changeover dates are flexible. Price includes a free daily return boat crossing per group to Pauillac. Further return boat crossings are possible at a cost of 35 Euros each. Linen, towels, electricity, gas etc are all included in the price.
