We're in the Gironde
The département of Gironde forms part of the Aquitaine region in south west France and is famous worldwide for its wine and for its beautiful Atlantic coastline.
Our weather
The weather is fantastic and the region enjoys almost as much sunshine as the Côte d'Azur. The summers are long and hot and the winters are mild. You can usually still have lunch outside in early November and be back at your garden table in February, when there are often some lovely warm days!
Trompeloup
Trompeloup has 4 bedrooms, can accommodate 8 to 10
Gite d'Ile Trompeloup has 4 bedrooms, original fireplaces, stone walls and terracotta tiled or wooden floors, and is an ideal holiday home for the larger family or group. Surrounded by gardens, a barbecue and plenty of garden furniture for al fresco dining; your gite also has the added advantage of opening directly onto the poolside!
On the first floor are two twin rooms and the enormous, luxury master bedroom with fireplace and en suite shower room. Another double room is on the ground floor as is the main bathroom. Cots are available by prior arrangement. Bed linen and towels are all provided. The living room has the original fireplace and enough comfortable chairs and sofas for everyone to relax, either watching one of over 100 DVDs, reading one of our eclectic collection of books or listening to some of the music CDs provided.
Facilities in the Cottage
Dishwasher, washing machine, TV, DVD player and DVDs, open fire, fridge, freezer, microwave, plenty of cutlery and crockery, outdoor chairs, tables and sun loungers, barbecue, shared pool, play area, sandpit, petting farm. Towels and bed linen are provided.

Further return boat crossings are possible at a cost of 35 Euros each. Linen, towels, electricity, gas etc are all included in the price.
